Bereiter Hausberger has been training the South African National Lipizzaner Team for three years now. During this time the team has progressed like never before! He is an outstanding teacher and trainer, and demands 150% attention, concentration and effort from both horse and rider. During his visits to the Centre, much improvement is demanded, he rides all the horses himself, to ensure that training is being carried out to the standards he expects. He also works all the horses in-hand, selecting younger horses which display talent for the airs above the ground. He watches teaching sessions, his critical eye keeping the instructress on her toes. He is also available for private lessons, giving clinics whilst in South Africa.
